The Manifest Destiny exhibition forms the starting point of a work-in-progress, which arose from a collaboration between Kunstenfestival 0090 and Extra City Center for Contemporary Art in Antwerp. For this project, initiant and curator Meryem Bayram invited the artists Cevdet Erek, Mladen Stilinović, Xurban collective, Emre Hüner and Reinaart Vanhoe for a first joint residency to Antwerp. Further working visits followed in the course of 2009. The exhibition sowed the seeds for a project that came the surface in its full extent in 2010. T
