RAME – invited by Lorena Dozo |2020

Rame is a choreographic project that questions the transformation, disappearance and appearance of bodies in a plastic and choreographic evolutionary context. For this project we are inspired by the Baroque period with as central theme the philosophical transformation and as scenographic principle the surprise and change.

Meryem Bayram designed a triangle , one side white to be visible and the other side black to be an invisible element. Rame was inspired by the Barok period. She  added  copper as bright element an added an another layer to the trajectory.

As in all her collaborations the objects she designed can be seen as autonomous elements, inviting the collaborators to activate them, to appropriate them.

The scenography consisted thus of a stretched out triangle, in which the three female performers unfold the scenography through their movement and thus constantly change the image.
